About Us

Timbertown Paddleboard Company believes in hard work, focus and determination.  Our concept is based from the 19th century when growth and prosperity was abundant and the timber trade was flourishing. Located in the Capitol of Canada, our city of Ottawa  played a major role transporting logs through the Ottawa River and Rideau Canal.  Workers were required to move large loads of timber through these waterways enroute to the Atlantic Ocean.  Log drivers were brave souls who navigated these waters standing on logs preventing jams with pike poles.   This type of work impacted many towns, cities and helped build nations.  While paddle boarding is much safer and fun, the fundamentals are the same.   At Timbertown Paddleboard Company we recognize the relation between present and past still exists.  As we like to say, “Our History is in Our Roots”
