Timbertown Paddleboard Company believes in hard work, focus and determination. Our concept is based from the 19th century when growth and prosperity was abundant and the timber trade was flourishing.
Our city, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, played a major role in transporting logs through the Ottawa River and Rideau Canal. Workers were required to move large loads of timber through these waterways en route to the Atlantic Ocean.
Log drivers were brave souls who navigated these waters standing on logs, preventing jams with pike poles. This type of work impacted many towns and cities and helped build nations. While paddle boarding is much safer and fun, the fundamentals are the same. At Timbertown Paddleboard Company we recognize the relation between present and past still exists. As we like to say, “Our History is in Our Roots”
